This page covers two different things: this website, and the TinyScribe app. They handle data very differently, so we describe them separately.
This site is static — plain pages, no server-side logic, no database. It is hosted on Vercel.
We don't use cookies and we don't run analytics. The only processing that happens is standard server access logs kept by Vercel as our hosting provider (e.g. IP address, requested page, timestamp), for operating and securing the infrastructure.
We don't collect your email address, your name, or any other personal data through this site.
TinyScribe has no account and no server of ours. Your recordings stay on your Mac. Transcripts and summaries also live there — and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your own private iCloud database. Audio is never uploaded anywhere. We never see any of it.
Summaries go through Apple's Private Cloud Compute, where nothing is stored and nothing is used for training.
TinyScribe doesn't collect telemetry or analytics, and it doesn't ask you to create an account or hand over an email address.
This page also serves as the privacy policy URL listed in the Mac App Store.
